1) Rythu Bandhu Scheme Details:


  • Scheme: Rythu Bandhu.
  • Started by & Year: Government of Telangana in 2018.
  • Aim: To Provide Investment Support for Farmers of Telangana.
  • Budget: 12000 Crore.
  • Eligible Farmers: All Small, Medium, Marginal & Big Farmers of Agriculture & Horticulture.


  • Rythu Bandhu Scheme was India's First Farmers Investment Scheme started in Telangana. Now many State Governments and even Central Government Started following this Scheme under Different Names. 

    • This Scheme aims to Provide Investment Support for Farmers of Telangana. Started by now Cheif Minister of Telangana K. Chandrashekar Rao with a budget of 12000 cr rupees. 

    • Initially, it began with 4000/- Rs per acre per season (Basically, Indian Agriculture Crops are divided into two seasons Kharif & Rabi). In 2019 it was extended to 5000/- Rs per acre per season.

    • Under this Scheme, a total of 58.33 Lakh farmers will avail the benefits, and 1.42 acres of land will get investment under this Scheme.

2) How to Check Rythu Bandhu Scheme Beneficiary Status:





  • Once Page is fully loaded, Mouse-hover on an e-kuber option and click on "Scheme wise Report."

  • Wait until the system is redirected to the Scheme wise Report Page. You'll have two options to fill in. (Year and Type of the Scheme)

  • Select the year for which you want to check the status of the Rythu Bandhu Scheme.

  • Now click on Scheme Dropdown below the year and select the "Rythu Bandhu" option.

  • Enter the PPBNO (Pattadar Passbook Number) and click on the Submit button.

  • Now all the details (Famer's Name, Aafhar Number, Bank Acc: no, Amount Credited, and Payment Date) of the Farmer will appear.


Note: If No details appear, then the Rythu Bandhu amount is not credited yet or Bank details of Farmer not yet registered in State Government's website. 




3) Procedure to Check Rythu Bandhu Beneficiary List:






  • Click on the option, which says Rythu Bandhu. (Agriculture Investment Support Scheme.)

  • The system will be directed to the "Rythu Bandhu" Page. Scroll down, and you'll see the "Check Distribution Venue Scheduled" option. Click on it.


  • Now Check Distribution details Page is loaded. Fill in all the required Information (District details and Mandal Details) you want to check. "Click on Get Beneficiary List."


  • All the Beneficiary Details List will appear on the screen.



4) Eligibility Criteria for this Scheme?



Below is the Eligibility Criteria of Farmers for the Rythu Bandhu Scheme.


  • Farmers should be Residents of Telangana.


  • Farmers should have his/her own Agriculture Land.


  • Both Agriculture and Horticulture Farmers are Eligible for this Scheme.




  • All Small, Medium and Big Farmers are Eligible for this Scheme.



5) Who are Not Eligible for this Scheme?



These Farmers are Not Eligible for this Scheme.


  • Farmers who are not Residents of Telangana.


  • Tenant Farmers are not Eligible for this Scheme.


  • Agriculture Workers are not eligible for this Scheme.





6) What to do When you are not Beneficiary of Rythu Bandhu Scheme?



Well, there may be several reasons why one is not the Beneficiary of this Scheme.


  • If One's land details are not updated in State Government Farmer's Database according to the new Pattadar passbook scheme, then you may not get the benefits of this Scheme.


  • Farmers didn't Provide Bank Account details, while State Government collected the Farmers details to issue new Pattadar Passbooks then one may not get the benefits of this Scheme.


  • If Agriculture land is in Dispute, then one may not get the benefits of this Scheme.

Well, you may contact the Regional Agriculture officer of Nodal Officer and explain to them your problem they will check all the details regarding your land and provide the optimum solution.

1) Who Started Rythu Bandhu Scheme?


The Government of Telangana Started the Rythu Bandhu Scheme in 2018. This initiative started by now Cheif Minister of State K.Chandrashekar Rao. This Scheme aims to Provide Agriculture investment support to the farmers.


2) What is PPB Number?


PPB Number stands for Pattadar Passbook Number as Government of Telangana made mandatory that new Pattadar Dharani Passbooks with updated land details for all of its State Farmers. These passbooks are distributed to farmers by revenue officers under the Records of Right act. The Rythu Bandhu amount will be credited to Farmer's bank according to details in the Pattadar Passbook.


3) Who are Eligible?


All Agriculture and Horticulture Farmers of Telangana are Eligible for this Scheme. There is no upper cap limit to this Scheme.
